Building Confidence

Building confidence in our dogs is all about rewarding the little things. Over time, the little things turn into the successes you never thought possible.

We will discuss common fears as well as the individual hurtles each participant are currently facing.  This seminar is a great first step to learn how to address what your dog is nervous of and see them grow more confident by the minute.

This seminar is not suitable for reactive dogs.

Great option to provide enrichment for older dogs that may have mobility issues and don’t get out of the house as much as they used to.

CKC Canine Good Neighbour – Evaluation

During a Canine Good Neighbour exam, handlers and their dogs are evaluated on their ability to perform a 12 step test of basic exercises as well as their ability to demonstrate good manners in everyday situations. The test is non-competitive and allows handlers and their dogs to demonstrate their confidence, ability to work together, and the handler’s ability to control the dog.

Each dog and handler team performs the 12 steps in front of a certified judge, one team at a time. Once the total number of teams is known, or limit is reached, participants will receive a confirmation email with a confirmed time slot.
