Local Events

All Things Corgi

CA has become the unofficial sponsor of the Corgi group in Edmonton and we enjoy attending all of their fun events throughout the year.

CORGI BEACH DAY – Hosted by fellow corgi lovers at the Voyager Park in Devon each year, this event has grown over the years and now more than 100 corgi’s and their owners enjoy a day of swimming, corgi races, agility, and partake in a very competitive costume contest with our CA volunteers as the esteemed judging panel.

Supporting Local Rescues

All of our sign up activities throughout the year such as Back to School Photos and Valentine’s Day Cards are a 50/50 fundraiser for local rescues in the area. To date we have donated to the following rescues:

Zoe’s Animal Rescue

Second Chance Animal Rescue (SCARS)

Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society (GEARS)

SAFE Team (we like cats too!)

Infinite Woofs Animal Rescue Society

Supporting Local Theatre

Fringe Festival 2023

This year we decided to try something new!

We sponsored Flicker, a play that showcased at the 42nd Edmonton Fringe Festival, written and directed by a local theatre company in Sherwood Park. We loved supporting local artists in their theatrical and acting careers!
